Farm History
Founder Henk Jonk immigrated to Canada from Holland in 1954. After many different ventures, Henk settled on cropping land in the Swan Lake area of Manitoba. In 1976, he grew his first crop of potatoes. Since then, his sons Tim, Vince and Steve, along with Tim’s son, Russell, have continued Henk's tradition of quality seed potato production. Swansfleet Alliance has grown over the years to include roughly 3000 acres of wheat and canola production along with our main focus of 1200 acres of seed potatoes. We now have seven full-time employees and many more part-time during planting and harvest.
