Farm History
Founder Henk Jonk immigrated to Canada from Holland in 1954. He settled on cropping land in the Swan Lake area of Manitoba and, in 1976, grew his first crop of seed potatoes.
His sons Tim, Vince and Steve, along with Tim’s son Russell, now continue his tradition of quality seed potato production. Swansfleet Alliance has grown over the years to include roughly 5000 acres of wheat and canola production alongside our main focus of 1200 acres of irrigated seed potatoes. We now have seven full-time employees and many more part-time during planting and harvest.
